Written questions are better questions

A live user interview rewards improvisation, which is exactly when leading questions slip out. Writing them down first forces you to cut the ones that assume the answer, fix the order, and ask the awkward one you would have talked yourself out of.

The respondent gets the same benefit. Reading a question is faster than hearing it asked, and thinking for four seconds before answering is not rude when nobody is watching.

Async does not mean shallow

The trade is real and worth stating plainly: you cannot chase a surprising thread in the moment. For wide-open exploratory discovery, a live call still wins.

For everything else — validating a direction, understanding why someone switched, hearing how users describe the problem before you name it — asynchronous voice gets the same signal for a fraction of everyone’s time. And you can listen twice.

The people you most want are the hardest to book

Senior users, busy customers and the ones who already churned are exactly the people who ignore a scheduling link and answer a four-minute one. Continuous discovery falls apart on scheduling, not on willingness.

Personal links greet each person by name, tell them what the survey costs in minutes, and count it down as they go.

Your users, not a panel

This is not a recruiting platform and does not pretend to be one. There is no panel of strangers and no AI moderator conducting the interview on your behalf — just your questions, your users, and what they said.

If you would rather never open the interface, the API and MCP server run the whole loop from wherever you already work.

START FROM THESE

User research questions worth asking

Six open questions is roughly four and a half minutes of someone’s time. Copy these straight in and edit them to sound like you.

  1. Walk me through the last time you did this. What happened?
  2. What were you using before?
  3. What made you start looking for something else?
  4. Where does the current way still slow you down?
  5. What did you expect this to do that it does not?
  6. If you could change one thing about it, what would it be?
QUESTIONS

Common questions

Is an asynchronous interview as good as a live one?
For exploratory discovery, no — you cannot follow an unexpected thread in real time. For validating a direction, understanding a switch, or hearing how people describe a problem, it gets the same signal and takes a fraction of the time on both sides.
Do you recruit participants?
No. This is built for the case where you already know exactly who you want to hear from — your users, your customers, the people who churned — and simply cannot get them on a call.
Is there an AI moderator?
No, deliberately. Your questions go to your users and their answers come back as they said them. Nothing is conducted on your behalf.
